Instructor Bio:

As a Montessori credentialed teacher and special educator, Christine shares her expertise and wealth of experience in teaching reading to a wide range of learners of all ages. She is able to align research on the science of reading with her deep understanding of Montessori philosophy of learning and the pedagogy of literacy. Having taught and guided neurodiverse students, including those with dyslexia, to reading success, Christine is able to share the many ways that instruction can be differentiated to best meet the learning needs of ALL students. She has seen the direct benefits of a school wide approach using the Montessori language spiral curriculum as it brings consistency across all school levels and all students. The IMC endorsed Science of Reading certificate will give you the knowledge, strategies, and skills you need to create a community of readers in your classrooms, your school, and your community.
