Session Two: A Classroom of Belonging for All- Tier One Best Practices
Session Three: A Peaceful Classroom for All- Responsive Guidance for Managing an Inclusive Classroom
Session Four: Focus and Support on Unique Needs- Tier Two Best Practices
Session Five: Systematic Individualized Intervention Plans- Tier Three Best Practices
Session Six: Parents, Professionals, and Community Resource Partners
Course Objectives:
- Understand today's children- characteristics and special needs
- "Read" behavior as communication for teaching and support
- Create & manage a peaceful classroom of belonging
- Understand the strategies & tools in each tier for a continuum of support
- Observe for a Functional Assessment & Individualized Plan of Support
- Partner with Parents
